Verbocities

A tour guide that talks while you walk or drive. Start a tour, put your phone in your pocket, and hear a short story about each place as you reach it.

The Android app is coming soon. Verbocities is being tested with friends and family before it is released.

• Stories as you go. Each place gets its own short story, played as you walk or drive up to it.
• On foot or in the car. It runs on your phone and on Android Auto, and notices by itself whether you are walking or driving.
• Your kind of tour. Choose a theme (history, architecture, food and drink, writers and artists, or the odd and overlooked) and a narrator, from a friendly guide to a dry historian. Stories can be told in English or Spanish.
• No signal needed. Save an area before you go, and its stories play offline.
• Try it from home. The demo walk takes you around one of 16 cities without leaving your chair.
• No account, no ads. Verbocities never asks for your name, email address or phone number.
